Contriving An Array Of Creations

Making things is my passion, and I love working with my hands. I chose "Contrive" for my brand's name because it means "to create or engineer through deliberate use of skill"—perfectly capturing who I am as an engineer who loves to create.

My crafting journey began with crochet almost 25 years ago. I started by making handbags, and later crocheted clothes for my baby girl. A while later as a mum to a daughter and two boys, I started sewing items for them, like the Toolbelt, which I first created for my older son who would stuff his tools in his waistband. It became my first best-seller!

Then I discovered bag making, and it became my absolute passion.

When you're passionate about what you do, you do it with love and anything made with love is made well. And this is how I make all my items, with passion, love, and great attention to details.

I continuously strive to improve my skills and deeply appreciate all my clients.
